DIY Wedding Ideas
If you are feeling crafty and you have the ability, I say “Why not?” It sure will make it even more special knowing that those things were actually made by your own hands.
You don’t need to make every little detail of the wedding a DIY project either. You can pick a few things that you want to do, and buy or rent the others. Here are a list of a few details that could be done for you to choose from:
- Centerpieces
- Napkin ring or holder
- Table numbers
- Invitations
- Place cards
- Escort cards
- Wedding gifts
- Welcome bags
- Menu cards
- Menu boards
- Garter
Once you decide you want to do things yourself, validate that you have the time and extra set of hands to help you with your plans. After all, just because you decided to have handmade details, does not mean that you have to do it alone. Use the opportunity to bond with your family, bridal party and even your fiancée.
Make sure that it is a fun, creative process and that it does not add to your “to do list” or stress. Whatever you do, do not take it upon yourself to do any special projects the night before or on your wedding day. That may create opportunity for last minute hiccups that could ruin your peace of mind and take away from your beauty time. Be certain that things are before the wedding day, so you can enjoy them.
Remember, do it yourself but do it well…
Till next time,
