Pinterest as a Wedding Planning Tool
Hello, my name is Bridal Savvy and I am a Pin-maniac… I don’t know about you, but I have become almost addicted to Pinterest. More so, when it comes to searching for wedding things and ideas. Have you heard about pinsomnia? It is the inability to fall asleep at night, because you can’t stop pinning things on Pinterest. Well… just visit my page here.
Pinterest has become a great resource to start the wedding planning process. Through the use of boards, brides now have a way to collect ideas in an organized way that may even be private if they want. All kinds of topics, from flowers, color schemes, décor, dresses to menu, venues and honeymoon places.
A few of the wonderful characteristics about this growing social media platform is how user friendly it is for everyone. You may use it in you smart phone, computer or tablet. Wherever you are, whenever you want. Also, through Pinterest you can access the webpages of vendors and services that you might want to consider according to your style and budget.
Nonetheless, be careful you don’t go overboard with thousands of ideas and lose perspective of your own wedding. Use this tool as a starting point and as way to select between the things that are for you and those that are not. But remember, Pinterest will not negotiate or give you feedback and will not be able to coordinate the wedding as a real life person would do. You still need a wedding planner to put all the ideas together and make them work in a cohesive way that will eventually result in your dream wedding.
Pinterest has revolutionized the way weddings are planned now. It has sort of taken the place of the bridal magazines. Instead of getting engage and immediately buying 25 different wedding magazines, you will buy 3 and spend the rest of the time pinning.
Have you started pinning yet? Don’t wait any longer… happy pinning!
Till next time,
Bridal Savvy
